Sorry To Internet Explorer Users

Sorry to anyone that’s using Internet Explorer because we’ve not had a chance to iron out all the bugs in the website for you guys yet.
We’ve heard all the usual IE rants and yes, it is very frustrating. Take this site, for example, we built it lovingly from Photoshop mockup through to static HTML to get the CSS and XHTML right (that’s right, we’re fully XHTML Strict and CSS 2.1 compliant!) and then we put it all together using the fantastic Ellis Labs product, Expression Engine (which was an interesting learning curve but well worth it). Graphically there are still some bells and whistles to come, but in terms of site build, it’s finished and it’s perfect coding. Yet it still doesn’t display properly in IE 7. Bah!!!
We’ve seen it using the upcoming Internet Explorer 8 engine, however, and it’s looking like they’ve got standards reasonably sussed (and so the website looks pretty much spot on) but those of you using IE 7 have got a couple of little glitches to put up with for the time being. Obviously we’re really annoyed that it’s not perfect all round but unfortunately we don’t get paid to build our own website so it’s going to be a little while till all the bugs are ironed out.
So please accept our apologies and take our recommendation to download the latest version of Firefox today and get to experience the web as designers intended you to!
